Hopefully. As everything is life it's cash dependant lol. @mhm as in the grille and light surrounds? We talking 200tdi front end? Apologies if being dense I thought you meant the black trim/bumper. @Dd yes a winch will probably be bought at some point. I plan to use this motor for my local driving and keep my daily for my commuting in a hope that I shave a few miles off it. I'll also be able to keep my daily dog and farm free then lol
On another note, sgs make some nice stuff and have good reviews. I'm looking at getting the 150l compressor from them for my birthday. Any thoughts on it?

I have a couple of front plastic grills. But I was thinking of the front metal panel that goes across between the headlight boxes that is brand new. I am also changing my 200Tdi front panel for a facelift TD5, so that will be going spare if the TD5 swap works.

Always go for the biggest you can afford. The critical things are open ended L/min; as that is, invariably, the limiting factor in use. I.e. how much air can it supply.
Oh yes please I'm going to need to find whole set of surrounds etc which sounds like you would have. I am wondering if the 300tdi light units will go in the headlight boxes - they look bigger but is that due to the 300 lights not being in the box? It's one of those trial and error things I guess. With your wiring knowledge I don't think you'll have a problem fitting td5 lights

300TDi lights into a 200TDi used to be a common swap.

Yes early Td5 headlights are a direct swap.
Not sure i would bother as your originals (unless the reflectors are fubar of course) will be amazing once relay powered and cleaned

Having re-read that top Q a few times i think i know the confusion as the headlights stand quite proud of the actual light box as they are on adjustable ball & socket pin joints for alignment & electric levelling, easy to not know this as I think all he's done is pull it to bits since he got it home lol
Hahaha mine is indeed a 300tdi. I like the 200tdi front end. I'd like a 200tdi grill and headlight surrounds. I know this is odd but I think it looks better. I wondered if I could use the headlight surrounds and grille with 300tdi light units but think they're mounted differently
