steamy windows

first post on here...been waiting for something to go wrong on the truck but she won't...go wrong ! so i thought i'd ask something enane and well frankly pointless.

why do me temp/fuel guages steam up when i take her on a medium to big drive.

honestly...thats all I can ask about

mines do that anaw, but mainly on a shortish drive.

Happens 2 me all the time!

Aye mine does it as well. Av teken em off along with the dash an everything but can't find owt that might cause it, I reckon it's just the moisture in the air drawn in through the heater.

But yes my gauges steam up also on a long run

mine do that but i thought it was cos me 110 leaks when it rains.

ye mine leaks aswell!

Pull the dash panel out and with a1/16 drill bit make a hole on the back of each instrument that will let it breathe and let the moisture out

i think it apparant that everydef do it then

'avent seen my steam up yet. It''s not a TDI though, it's an ennaay

nope - mine dunt!

mine do as well both winter and summer

Mine does it aswell. I think moist air gets into back of dash through front air vent flap.

mine do it to some times especialy when its been cold .
