steaming up found out why

when i put me heater fan on the whole front screen would instantly steam up and was a pain to clear,so on advice here it was put forward it was possibly summit to do with the matrix.so we took it apart today.the box was half full of water,took the matrix out and washed it we then put some air thru it and found it was leaking at one of the exit pipe joints and one of the internal water runners had a small hole it so me mate whos a plumber worked his magic with the solder aired it up again and no leaks,have installed it back in and hey presto no more steaming up..another job of the list

Another cause of steamy windows when the fan is on can be when the little rubber drain which is on the air box under the front wing where the air comes in is blocked. Test it by pouring a little water into the vent and seeing if your feet get wet. It should run straight out unless the drain is blocked.
The drain sits tight on top of the nearside front wheel arch.
