Hi
got my first Range rover a 1994 hse 4.6 lpg , and all was fine:):)
put it in for a service about a week ago , no problems plugs , oil etc changed and again no problems :):):)
but yesterday after drive of about 40mins stopped , got a paper , and car would not start .
tried turned over find would start straight away , could get no revs , after giving up and about 15mins tried it again and started as if nothing was wrong and run fine . when i stopped again , after 10 mins or so tried to see if she would start and did no problem ,
but again this morning same problem after a 40 min drive would not start , anyone had this problem or knows what it might be :confused: would be a great help

ECU engine temp sensor is a favorite for this kind of problem. Not always the cause but a cheapish way to start.

The really cheap answer is obviously to drive either 30 minutes or 50 minutes just avoiding the problem 40 minutes:car::screaming_bug_eye_f

Keith pure logic mate. Pure logic. And really cheap. Unless where he is going is 40 mins away. Does this mean he has to drive around the block for 10 mins. In which case it could get expensive. But i suppose he could either drive fast for 30 mins or drive slow for 50 mins to get to the 40 min destination. :):):)
