Starter Motor Bolt Size

In an attempt to fix an eathing problem I want to fit an earth strap from the battery directly to the starter motor. Can anyone tell be the size connector I need to use for one of the bolts that holds the starter motor on?

I'm trying to avoid the job taking 2 lots of time up instead of 1!

Assuming Tdi iirc there's 2 10mm and 1 12mm bolt

all 3 are m10

don't forget you can test the earthing issue by using a jump lead from bat neg to the starter/engine block
