My SRS light had been on for a few months so i pulled the fuse as i were sick of it glaring back at me.

I had a fairly good idea that the fault lay in the rotary coupler so i sourced one on fleabay.

Fitted yesterday and replaced the fuse - the srs light now goes out.

So it's obviously self cleared the fault and the main stealer won't be getting any dosh:D :D

Might be worth pulling your fuse after repairs to save the dosh on a reset;)

i unplugged mine ages ago.... tried unplugging various plugs etc , no joy.
guess il just have to loose my teeth in a accident... or get 40dd boobs!:D
probaly cheaper than main steelers parts anyway!

Mick - have you checked the airbag connection?? (yellow one at rear of airbag). Have seen a few fall off and cause SRS light to illuminate.

If thats ok - try under the seat connections - even spray with WD40 and reconnect.

Regards,

Steve

i have a spare srs ecu if anyone needs one - i bought the coupler and ecu for £40 which is cheaper than the reset alone:D
