Reduced engine performance

Seen all the potential answers but mine was easier.
It all came about by using diesel from Sainsburys.
At half a tank - I refilled with BP gave it a run and the fault has cleared.
Been like that for three days now so all good so far.
Moral of the story
Yiu get what you pay for
