Hi all,

I have just had the joy of changing all 3 blend motors - £35 off flea bay and I now have the ability to de-mist the driver's side and have heat on the drivers side :p result! I only had cold air blowing on my feet before - not nice in the winter.

completed:
dash removed
blend motors changed
o rings changed
coolant replaced

Still to do:
aircon - spring
cruise control

SRS airbag fault now showing on the dash. I did re-check the passenger air bag connector and it is fastened.

Can the diagnostics locate the fault or will it be mark one eyeballs in a garage? £££ <==

I don't remember knocking or dislodging anything else - any ideas please?

SRS fault comes up if you have switched ignition on with an SRS plug disconnected. You will need diag to clear it.

Hi had similar problem and was advised on here that it could be airbag connectors under seats, turned ignition off and removed key ,then wriggled connectors under seats, when i turned ignition back on fault had cleared. hope this helps

Only later cars have the side airbags and thus the connectors.

OP, there is an SRS connector for the steering wheel airbag.

Merry Christmas all :-D

Ok I checked all ok. I do however remember turning on the ignition to check the blend motors moved WITHOUT plugging the SRS dash plug in, because I'm a pillock.

Are there any nice people around Manchester who could help me clear the SRS alarm please? I'll buy you a pint or 2 if it needs it :-D

cheers

Hoppy
