Do u have a satnav screen in the middle of the instrument panel plse and also do u have AC in the back of the vehicle , just tel, us what model u have then , if u do I assume it’s an HSE

before doing the motor flap test did u also check / replace the pollen filter , the flaps might just be stuck with lack of use from standing all those years , u can put the system on heat make a note of which ones don’t work and then on cool , that way will can see which one isn’t working

As a side note and a very important thing if I may add is plse ensure the oil pump cover has been replaced with an updated one as they do fail if not changed ,

the Autel ap200 is a good basic bit of kit , surprised there isn’t any fault codes

Distribution motor self-test

The motor and flap operation can be checked using the on-board distribution motor self-test function.

The self-test can be initiated by pressing and holding the ECON and RECIRC buttons while turning the ignition switch to the ON position.

The control module will then compare the current motor position with the values stored in the module and will indicate an error by flashing the ECON LED (light emitting diode).

If there are no errors, the LED will go out and the system will function normally.

To confirm that there are no errors, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then back to the ON position. Observe the operation of the programmed defrost LED.

If there are errors present, the programmed defrost LED will flash and the system will attempt to calibrate itself.

Thanks for the help. So it's an HSE, I didn't leave the shop with extra coolant agent in the car. They had no clue how much coolant agent to top off but I've seen the posts in here and had the correct amount.
The pollen filter and the ac compressor are new. I did the hot cold test, watching the live data and the left air blend actuator position, when it's on full cold has the invalid position and when the ac is on full heat has the Intermidiate position. Performing the same action and watching the live values the right one has, cold/intermediate/hot positions.

I also performed the reset function econ and recir, no errors. It only stores an error when it builds pressure, more than 3100kpa but I can see the pressure rising and I stop the compressor by activating the econ function.
I am afraid to let it go.
Also while doing the hot/cold test, I can hear a lot of funny noises from under the dash, noises like the car has a stomach ache ). I am guessing the flaps are closing or opening.
