Hi all. I have had the srs light on now for several months and just got it to go out. For anyone with this problem, open the glove box and look through to the back you will notice a yellow cable leading down to a connector. Now, all i have done so far is to touch the connector/cable and the light has gone off on the dash. I can't get my arm in the gap to do anything else at the moment but i will take the glove box out as soon as i can to do more about it.

That sounds very similar to a problem my car had (2001).

SRS light was on most of the time. In the service history there's a testbook print out which said there was "passenger airbag module fault".

Anyway it was intermittent so in the end I whacked the passenger airbag module with my fist, and to date the faults never returned.

Technical stuff eh? :-D

It's usually a dodgy connection that just needs wiggling about. Dealers will tell you it needs a new expensive module (of course). Big yellow connectors behind gluv box and under passenger seat. disconnect and wiggle WITH IGNITION OFF and it will probably be fine.
