Hi All,
The airbag warning light has come on my vehicle is a 2001 TD5 Diesel, I have checked the wiring under the seats but it's still on.
Looking on the net I know you can get a reset tool to switch off the light but all the ones I've seen are like 3 or 4 hundred quid or they do not work on LR, can anyone recommend a cheap unit that works with Land Rover's.
Thanks

Why not fix it, sounds like the rotary coupling in the steering wheel, usually pick them up for about £15 on Ebay.
The light is a warning light and needs to work properly for an MOT.

Hi, the thing is that no reset tool will keep the light off as long as the fault which triggered it is current but if you cure the fault the light will go out by itself, what you really need is to read the fault code with a dedicated tester and fix the issue(there can be many things not just the coupler), unfortunately there are not much cheap units which can read the D2's SRS though for around 300 quid you can buy a nanocom or hawkeye which covers all the systems or find somebody close to you with one to read the fault code
