Squeaking from front left

hi all getting a squeaking from the front left of my car.
Now is this a break issue? It's disappears around 40/50mph is this break problem as when I break still squeaks so is it a build up of dust or something more serious

Usual check is by the suspension up and down to see if thats failing. Could check for scoring on the brake disk as a stone could have lodged. have a look at the callipers to see if they are loose. hope this helps a little

Or a seized calipers pin, perhaps a wheel bearing on its way out, or the back plate is distorted and rubbing, time to jack that side up and spin that wheel!

Don't think it's wheel bearing as there more of a drone sound and are louder on turn that's got more force on it. Have had it coasting with engine off when I've been out of the car seems to be that area. Is the back plate needed?? They are really hot when I've driven it. Just the squeak is odd as when breaking still squeaks. Got a good list to look at tomorrow with it. Poor things stood around for ages so im expecting these teething issues

VCU bearings can squeak.

As can crap round the outside of the disc if it's stood a while

Lol. Well think I've found the sorce and it's the ird bearing as gear stick shaking why knocking when cornering
