I suppose thinking about it the bits of the car that have oil naturally dripping everywhere tend to stay rust free...
Not the prettiest solution but things are a little bit more "belt 'n braces" out in S/A. As a case in point - look at all the folk that bounce around without seatbelts in the truck bed of Nissan "backies" out there? You'd never get away with that sort of thing over here.

Draw whatever conclusions you want. I just happen to think that making roads unsafe for bikers is a bad thing.

See now that wasn't so hard was it,I personally agree with the sentiment its your delivery that needs work, your current inability to communicate in a decent manner does lead to folk thinking you are a first class knob.

Why would you think it was difficult. I stated an opinion and when I saw someone had questioned it I explained why I held that opinion.

Sorry if I don't log in often enough for you but it did give you a chance to suck up to drivel.

I just done my Disco with a mixture of old engine oil, Tetrasyl Waxoil and well thinned down with white spirit. Sprayed on lovely, soaked in to all the nooks and crannys and dried overnight. No drips. I've been using proper waxoil, warmed up in hot water before use for a few years now, and won't be using it again. It goes on too thick and does not penetrate. The chassis just rusts underneath it.
