on me old abar i had a pair of 100w wipac spotlights,on me new abar i plan to mount 4 of theese lights, but as the wiring/fuses and relay was worked out on a pair of 100w lamps i was gonna put 55w bulbs in each one, will this cause any probs ,i dont really wanna add more relays or wirin as all the wires to theese existing lights are inside plastic protective sleeving and are solderd and heatshrunk

yer, sounds good. just go with 55's. cant see any problem if the original equipment is designed to run 100w. the reflector, bowl etc will all be designed to take the 100w anyway.

you should get a better light spread from 4 lamps over the 2 at 100w even though its the same output.

yeh thats what i was hoping, cos the wipac lights seem to lose a lot of light with the plastic protectors on,so i thought like you say that 4 will give a better spread, carnt be arsed to take the covers off everytime it gets dark

na, i just like wasting my money on my landy :)

I wanted some good ones, but i didnt want to pay for Lightforce and i didnt want the wipacs (had them before) so i struck a middle ground. will let oyu know how they work.

PIAA were voted best spots by LRM or LRO a few months back and are now contracted by LR to produce all their auxillary lights.
