Not exciting i know but i've recently fitted front spots, with provision to place to rear facing work lights, plus two flashing hazard auxiliary lights for use whilst manouvering the horse box.

Bought a "pod" for the switches which mounts easily on the dash and allows the wiring to pop up through the locating holes for the dash mat.
Also bought the "X bar" which just self taps over the number plate space, and allows two lights to be fitted into the alloy holder.

I really like this set up . I've just been looking at a bonnet pod of 4 x 55w.
However at £185 I don't think it will be this year .

Make a roof mount mate. Mine cost nothing and only took about 30mins to make. Get some 3/4 or 1 inch tube, two 90deg bends to attach to the roof bars and jobs a fish! Then mount however many you want up there.
