Evening all,

Just got back from visiting family in the South West, which was a good test for the newly fitted radiator. Anyhoo, whilst making my way back up the M5 earlier had a lack of power accompanied by black smoke and whooshing noise.

I guessed it was a split intercooler hose, so made my way to the next services to investigate. Lifted the bonnet and saw the split in the 90 deg bend after the EGR. Luckily I had one in the boot, so armed with my Swiss Army knife set about changing it.

A red Freelander came and parked behind me, but no one came to say hi. If they do happen to be reading this, I'm the one with the black TD4 that had it's bonnet up in the car park of Gordano services earlier today.

At least it had stopped raining while I carried out my repairs:)

Big mistake here :D:D:D:D:D "before" the EGR, as the compressed air going through the egr towards the combustion chambers .....);):):):)

Doh! Thanks willo, but at least you guys know what I mean:)

Gave the EGR a wipe out while I was there, but actually not that much crud in there considering it's covered 117k.
