on sunday i was round old denaby, went up 'the green' just off the main road through and found a lane, not signed but appeared to be a cantinuation of the green. anyone been there or fancy checking it out???

i went so far up but a fence has collapsed so i could go no further, think it leads to 'old road' and then over the other side onto/toward a housing estate. had to reverse about a quater mile to get back!!! not easy on a tight track!!!

sounds like someone is trying to round some labour bitches up!!!!

Now dont go breakin into a cold sweat, lol.

The Disco is goin on a little 2 day holiday to a very good spannerman friend of mine, He's fittin a new cam belt kit, water pump, glow plugs, oil, air and fuel filters, fan belt, EGR removal kit, oh and a new set of wipers cos the old ones are rubbish  .

is that completely passable now? I used to live in Rossington, and there used to be a bridge, just behind the pit, that had bollards put in front of it!

Nope bridge is still there. I'd guess he either turned back and retraced steps, or followed the river round to the left to a drain which used to be able to be followed through field gates, to get back via a different route. Turning back is the legal thing to do ... the rest may not be ... ;)

the one I cut my teeth on (literaly!)was just outside Tickhill, follow the road from tickhill to Bawtry, as you go under the bridge, look for a small building on the left hand side with 'SANMET' written on it, turn down there and follow the tarmac lane for about 1/2 mile and it turns into a dirt track, its only about 2 miles long but it will certainly give your suspension a workout!

We used to fly model (radio control) airplanes down there. When you get to the other end it's now a tarmacced lane, but there used to be a few miles worth of green lanes over the other side of the road. There's now an industrial Estate there, where some woods and 'bomb holes' were. Excellent place many years ago.

I also come, originally, from Rosso ... ;)
