Just ordered all 4 top and bottom ball joints and the removal tool just in case then one he's sold his car he can then get everything else it needs springs, shocks, radius arms and a few other bits :D

Hi, may I ask what removal tool you got please (a link would be great) as I need to do mine, many thanks.
Hi Andy its the Neilson one you see everyone using on youtube, got it off ebay £40, you can get them cheaper same tool but a different make but take longer to post this one was delivered within 48 hrs :D
Oh and if you don't have one get yourself a blow torch as you will need it

The noise from the front shocks is getting umberable now and the new front Terraferma shocks, springs, turrets and isolaters have arrived yesterday and today so today after work he is going to attempt to replace them :D

Son's just ordered the rear suspension parts for his disco 2 td5 inc the front prop shaft as after doing the front suspension a couple of weeks ago one of the 3 U/J'S was badly worn even though before we replaced everything we couldn't find any play in either prop shafts :(

I've just replaced the front prop on mine. I too couldn't discern any play in it until I took it off. There wasn't much and TBH the new prop hasn't shown itself to have improved things but at least I know it isn't going anywhere soon and I can rebuild the old one at my leisure. ;)

Front prop replaced as well as rear springs, shocks, link rods, discs and pads but just found out one of the rear calipers is sticking so for what they are he's replacing both hopefully today if we can get them quick enough

Sorry i forgot about this thread, rear brakes got sorted and we went to the Adventur Overland Show on Saturday with no problems as it was the disco's first long trip out since he bought it a month ago, he's well chuffed :D
