look closely lads, series windscreen, series doors, series tub, series chassi coz if you look close from side view of the n/s the chassi goes staright out to the series x member, does'nt drop down then back up like a 90. i went to look at a series 3 offroader in january and that has had a coil spring conversion. i thought u lot knew ur stuff:doh:

more proof of why in the UK we have a judge and jury system not a lynch party, at least someone has got there facts correct before sending in the lynch mob

you've heard of the points scheme right???

No matter what the body is, and what the original, though clearly heavily modified chassis is, it don't add up on the points - and is sold as a 90...

maybe he baught it thinking it is a 90?? lets face it, it fooled you lot! u lot jump to your guns to quick or just dont know what ur looking at, i personally knew straight away that its a series just by looking at the pic of the n/s rear chassis. yes hes in the wrong for selling it as a 90 when its a series. but it aint no dinger ringer

Its not the original chassis.
i think it is, coz it aint a 90 chassi trust me. its not that difficult to convert a leaf sprung chassi to coils. and dosnt mean it needs putting on a q plate either!! yes hes wrong for advertising it as a 90 but you lot are wrong for saying its a ringer when you havnt got any facts or evidence, whilst the facts was staring you in the face really??:D

I'm sure you're right..i'm just pointing out that its not original chassis (he says so himself). I just want it cheap for parts.

Doors, windscreen and tub are series 111 built from 1971 unless he's got the only s111 prototype built in 1968. Maybe he's put a series crossmember with extensions on a 90 chassis.

Significantly altered chassis (coil mounts added) unoriginal engine probably axles from a 90 as well, not enough points to keep original i.d. should be q plate.
Might not be ringer but far from legitimate.

Well it seems the experts have spoken, I thought there was something fishy but didnt see the whole picture, I still quite like it tho:)

can you get heated sceens for a series????

Yes, you can actually, there was a group who clubed together and bought direct from manufacturer about 6 months ago. Think they were the far side of £100.

I had a nice chat to the DVLA about this and other eBay related landies.

Apparently the DVLA have no interest in illegal operations with vehicles, you can do what you like according to them - its a matter for the police...

Guess where my next point of call will be - i somehow get the impression the police will say its the DVLA's job... :(
