Agreed! Me and a few good mates were there too.
I had a great time didn't bust anything except my granny side steps...
My mates's blue 110 popped a halfshaft...
My bro's Unimog was easily the star of the event, made the Landies look a bit daft, except when he had fuel probs on way home and needed a tow back to the workshop! (that made the TD5 grunt a bit)

What a superb venue, was a bit overcrowded, but there must have been about 150 motors...

Yes it was a bit overcrowded for a while and then things started to space out a bit, it was quite funny when you noticed a tree shake and then someone would appear with a 'slight bodywork modification' :D
Your bros Unimog was impressive to watch too and I don't know who it was doing the 'black runs' in the hippo but big respect to him too!

Yes there was a wide range in driver ability!!! The guy in the gaylander was very good.

I think the gravel subsoil was great , cos you could get grip up some impossible looking slopes.

I stuck my head out the window at the wrong time, and got my face pebble-dashed in mud- the kids damn near wet themselves laughing in the back!

It was easy enough to get about until someone with Special Tracks lost it and dug some deep holes which caused some interesting cross axle situations up some of the steeper slopes.
Highlight of the day must have been DV going flat out up a slope and then bouncing BACKWARDS off an 18" high treeroot 'step' - we ****ed ourselves:D:D

Wellllllllllll................ the next time DV breaks a diff I shall tell him its got fook all with him being an animal.............................

.............................I'll tell him that replacement diff he got off eBay was so cheap cos it had Munchausen Syndrome............:D:D

:doh::doh: What i means is DV havin munchausen syndrome... ya know breakin the diff on purpose/settin it up to break on purpose.... for attention  :D
