Hi guys,

I've not been to a sortout in Newbury for years now. Back in 2006 it was massive, ques for hours getting in, Land Rovers all broken down along the motorway, great stuff. Then I think it shut down soon after (got too big?) and 'moved' to Beaulieu which was terribly disappointing. I've recently discovered its moved back to Newbury... What's it like now? Still big? Still great?

And any ideas if buyers can camp there the night before..?

Cheers!

Oli

still well worth the trip, they have combined the vintage static engine / agricultural stuff and the 4x4 sale, usual mix of bargains and lunatics asking a fortune for scrap.. good day out though and a million times better than the great north sortout they run thats smaller than the average car boot

Cheers Steve

Is it a spectacle worthy of a 5 yo girl and 2 yo lad who are mad keen landy spotters or should I just stick to driving em passed the local main dealers and round bearmachs every now and then?

I might go this year just for something to do but I really think its too expensive to get in and food/ drink costs silly. I usually end up coming away with something which cost me a couple of quid which I could have done without yet it cot me 3x that to get the family in!
