Thought you might like to see this, my husband with his home made snow plough helping out a friend at his garage, and doing the councils work around our lane!

Would be if negotiated BEFORE doing is forecourt! Just been to the pub and bumped into famer from neighbouring farm who has been clearing tesco carparks! Bet he got paid more!! (to be fair it was a BIG plough on the front of the tractor!)

I got £30 last year off Sainsbury just to drive around their car park and break the snow... not bad for 3 laps around the car park :D

I'm about to start building a plough for this year. Just wondering if anyone knows what the law is on them and did you guys tell your insurance? I just figured I'd leave it bolted on all of winter. I hardly use the car anyway except at the weekends.

Cheers mark

Thanks for those. Thought I better add I have no intension of any form of commercial ploughing. It's solely for my own use. Helping friends with large drives etc.
