Hi all, I want a snorkel for my disco TD5 anyone got any recomendations as to which one to buy??
 
:p I have looked at safari ones but im sure ive seen some that exit at the rear of the bonnet but cant find it anymore
 
What the hell is this bloke about? Yet again someone is looking for some info and up pops the tosser with yet another useless reply.

make sure you waterproof yer ECU, cos if you fit a snorkel you'll be tempted to go deeper... snorkel's no good to an engine that wont run due to water on the brain..!
 
Reddisco I think you are looking for a MANTEC snorkel. Steel construction and fits at the back of the wing. Good point by battenberg there are 6 holes in the back of the ECU which can be blocked up with a bit of silicone. Also I removed the foam on the inner wing end of the airbox pipe and replaced this with silicone as well.
 
Thats the one I was looking for Mantec. I just ordered 1 and il carry out the silicone mods when it arrives thanks for the help.
