discovery v8 snorkel

hi ive got a H reg discovery v8 just bought a second hand safri snorkel do they do them in differnt lenghts as it doesnt line up with the intake hole looks to short thanks all

Just picked up a second-hand Safari snorkel for my H-reg Discovery V8, but it seems a bit too short to line up with the intake hole. Anyone know if they come in different lengths, or have I just got the wrong one? Thinking maybe it’s not for the V8 or there’s an adaptor I’m missing. Any ideas or suggestions before I start hacking away at it? Cheers!

I think the versions for ABS equipped vehicles have to be longer? Seems to ring a bell anyway.
