snorkel mounting

hello all

quite new to this website and cant find what i need using the search
button.

looking to fit my snorkel on my defender 90 2.5td. 1989 "G"

are there any fitting guides available ?

do i fit the circle mounting clips to he front of the window frame or the side ?

any help or pics would be really helpful.

Im looking at the same thing at the moment and have this as my best so far

Ho to fit a snorkel onto a Defender

use gripfill and stick it on so the screws dont leak into the window frame and rot vent top baulkhead.

any more advice out there

could always use "no more nails" instead

on my old defender the brackets went on the front face of the windscreen surround.
i fixed using captive rivnuts

another question, do i have to do anything to any of the other pipe work under the bonnet ?
or just mount snorkel on the outside as above and off i go.

newbie questions i no but you have to learn somehow

not sure what model the snorkel is to be honest.

and its a defender 90 2.5 "g" (not tdi ect)
