Snorkel compatible with roll cage

Heey guys,

I am looking for a good looking snorkel thats compatible with external roll cage. Its LR geniune roll cage.

I have look quite a lot but havn't any snorkel that can be mounted inconjuction with roll cage.

My Bearmach one can be used with roll cages. You will need to make sure the rollcage has the tab to bolt it to. The other alternative is to use jubilee clips to hold the mounting brackets to the roll cage or wel the tabs on.

Can you give me the part number of ur BM snorkel, Is ur car a TD5? Would have a source to get this snorkel from?

I don't have a part number for it. Yes mine is a TD5. TD5 and 300tdi snorkels are the same if that helps in your quest.

I don't have a rollcage fitted yet.

If you look at my profile pics you will see the snorkel fitted. There are 2 brackets that bolt to the windscreen pillar. If your rollcage has the tabs on for the snorkel to mount to it will bolt straight on. If it doesn't you will need to either weld the tabs on or find another way of holding em on.

If you look near the centre of the piccy you will see some circular clips where a bolt would go through. These are what you need to bolt to the tabs on the rollcage.

The thing is i dont want this ordinary looking snorkel, I want either safari or mantec snorkel that can go with roll cage. No my roll cage doesnt have tabs for the snorkel.

I do belive southdown snorkels fit with cages

If you fit a Mantec or a Safari you WILL need the tabs on your roll cage. Both of these snorkels also require additional adaptors.

I have used a standard bearmach one, adapted it a little and used massive stainless steel jubilee clips to attach it to the cage.
