Got a problem with my 300tdi Disco. Its kicking out plumes of white/blue smoke that smells of oil. I've changed the turbo and manifold and things have improved a bit but not by much. The engine had lost a lot of power but some of this has returned since the changeover, although I'm not convinced the new(er) turbo is doing a whole lot....the engine seems to gain a little pressure and clear its throat but then the smoking starts all over again.
The main intercooler pipe was looking ropey so I replaced that too and again, this has helped a little bit.
I'm going to investigate the rest of the intercooler pipes for damage in the morning.
Apart from the aforementioned problems, the engine is running and sounding absolutely fine and has no starting issues.
Anyone have any similar experiences?

Cheers.

check your panel filter isn't blocked - had it happen on mine - the engine then sucks air from anywhere it can, especially from the oil breather pipe on the air filter tubing
