smokey and the bandit

smokey bein my 200 tdi and bandit bein my 200 tdi as she robs all my money.ive noticed recently with it bein dark and cars headlights behind me are showing up the smoke belching out the exhaust,now the head gasket was done about 3000 ago and shes done 139000 in all.i dont know if this is normal but there seems to be a lot so i got home tonite lifted the bonnet and listened for turbo only if you rev the car then let idle and then feather the throttle there was a screaming sort of noise coming from turbo i think if you rev normal its ok but if you go to about 1.5 thou revs there is the noise its like a squeel,scream not loud but its there if anyone could shed any lightcheers

Sounds like ze turbo could be fooked mate if it is squeelin' at 1.5 thou rpm :scratching_chin: check the intercooler to see if it got loads of oil in it .

its funny cos the motor is running lovely when i say scream i dont mean in yer face but its there, but i only heard it wi head under bonnet i think its time to give her some tlc and check all mi pipes and stuff

My mate had a megane in with oil in the intercooler. It wouldn't switch off cause the oil in the cooler was feedin the engine and it screamed its head off until it exploded.
