Small rear window trims - fitting

Noddy question which I can't find the answer to...

Took the trim panels off the small rear windows either side of the back door to get at the rear washer nut. I now can't get them back on. There seems to be one spring clip which doesn't have anywhere obvious to clip to. Help please...

Mine just seem to work like this.
White arrow points to a flat bit of spring steel that slots behinds side window trim.
The black arrow points to a spring steel simple U shaped clamp that pushes over the seam adjacent to the door. I've used a matching black arrow to point to the seam I'm talking about. There are clips, for the side window trims, that hook on to the join between the side window panel and the roof. I can't remember if the rear trim had clips up there.
