When did you last change the TF filter and TF fluid. EAS problem is usually down to air pressure check your compressor is giving it's best.

i owned it for about 2 years nearly, i have never changed tf oil, got it booked in for service this week, does oil need draining and new oil put in or just topping up if needed? compreesor pumps away like a goodun, just sometimes comes up quick and sometimes 5-10 mins

Gearbox problems sometimes occur until oil is warm then all appears fine. This is a indicator of clogged filter in box. Just because compressor is running does not mean it is making good air. Take it off mounts and lift it up, remove blue pipe from head. With it running put your finger over outlet it should blow air past your finger you should not be able to seal it, if you can it needs looking at. Also look at the exhaust. Remove filter, with pump running put a finger over exhaust outlet, if there is any air at all coming out look at diaphragm.

Hi Wammers, I think I might have this problem also. I have looked on Rave but cannot find where the filter is situated, can you enlighten me pls?

EAS fault is likely to be leaking airbags in my opinion, the leaks open and close where the bags fold under so sometime they leak, sometimes they don't. Do the soapy water spray test. If the bags are over 8 years old they will be shot.
Manual states ATF change every 30K miles.
