Hi Jamie. I have a 2004 Landmark. The SLS light would come on intermittently, then permanently. A previous owner had converted it from air to coils but not set the SLABS ECU to coils. When a height corrector started failing the SLS light came on. I set the ECU to coils and unplugged the height correctors at the ECU (I want to return it to air eventually) and it's been fine since. Is yours coils or air?

Fery is the world expert on these things, so I won't add anything else to his advice!

Jamie, if your keen on maintaining it yourself, then you need a diagnostic tool. D2 requires specific tools in that regard, like Hawkeye, Nanocom or Foxwell. Makes it a lot easier and you will use them, maybe regularly if you are unlucky.

+1 on that.

I bought a Nanocom very soon after I bought the Disco and haven't regretted a penny of its cost. Others are very good too and cheaper, I think @Stanleysteamer speaks very highly of the Foxwell.

Hi, did they come on while driving ? Also can you see the ABS and TC lights on ignition self test ?
hi mate, yes they appeared when driving and nope its only the hill decent and sls lights that are on my dash. i was wondering i have an airbag at the drivers rear that isnt sitting 100% it has a crease in it, would this cause the sls light to apppear?
many thanks

No the bag would not trigger the SLS warning, if i understood well the ABS and TC warnings are blanked then if you can't see them at all not even after ignition as turned on so it's possible that you have the 3 amigos and dont see them. If you push the off road mode button is the ORM warning flashing and the rear going up ?
i think i am gonna invest in a diagnostic tool.
that's what you must do if you want to fix it yourself
