just came across a Deepender with a 3.5TDi Nissan lump in it tonite in Basingstoke - looked a nice motor - dun well.
whilst lookin on anuver Slitty web site - came across this - any thoughts or comments, coz i never heard it discussed on here?
"A lot of us are reverting back from the 300Tdi to the old faithfull 200Tdi - the secret --- replace the 200Tdi's Turbo with one from a 300Tdi. Only a very small bit of tinkering required to fit it in place - about half a day's work, and you're gauranteed much better performance. Actually loads and loads better than the 300tdi.
(If you want to go the extra mile, increase th eturbo to 110kPa and fit ceramic piston heads.)
Also Replace your std intercooler with an oversize dual core one and replace the old rubber hoses with silicon hoses.
And tune your diesel injector pump as per this link.
