Single cab style tub tail gate on a 110 CSW?

Hi Guys,

I dislike anyone who butchers a nice style vehicle except if it makes it better and more practical.

One of my Landys, three door will be used for some work and play, today I was thinking it's difficult to carry anything longer than the Landy cargo space with the rear door it has. It would have been cool if it had an option to leave the rear door open to carry longer stuff.

In my wild thoughts I was wondering if anyone did a tail gate conversion. If I had the time now, I would have grabbed looked at potentials mods to do this.

I know some might say, get a single cab, but I need an enclosed cargo, airplane hanger in mine

Yeah it's called a cat flap. You have the drop down tailgate on the tub and you have a lift up section with window on the hardtop roof. Series vehicles had them a lot

Sorry about the late reply Flap, thanks for the information. I looked up cat flap, seems as though they are hard to find but does not look too difficult to modify a swing door to make a flap and then get a tail gate to mate with it.

Seen a post where Rocky Mountain said they were going to make them but after looking at their website, no sign of it.
