P38A Simple yes/no flexplate

The bolt holes may be the same number but the important measurement is the PCD. That is the pitch circle diameter. You may be better getting an engineering shop to check they are identical, if you can find one open.
 
Buy a TD5 flex plate, buy a M51 flex plate, compare them. If they are the same you have a choice to make. Fit one and send other back. Or keep both, one as a spare for when your modification goes tits up. :D:D

The torque converter hole centers may also be different, It's a pointless exercise as the M51 flex plate is available for 50 quid or so.
