SIII restoration

The one I replaced had one year old back chassis. Only thing rotten on it was the B/H outriggers. Still lying in the grass now cos I just knackard me angle grinder again (two this year!).

aye it was repairable, the outriggers were rotten but we bought the repair sections. Mainly the crossmembers between the main chassis rails were quite rotten inside, the front end of the chassis was good probably because of all the oil around there, the rear was a little scabby.

Still cant go wrong with a brand new chassis that wont rust, will make going together alot easier

Ill post back when we crack on again, as my capris coming home next week.
