sidestep bolts

Hi,

I did a quick search and can not find what I am looking for. I have just recieved some standard side steps, when I went to fit them I removed one of the outrigger bolts to attach the bracket and the nut and bolt is in bad repair. So I need to replace them. I would imagine that they do not have to be replaced by Land Rover original parts, is there anything I need to look out for in there replacements. Other than they are the right girth and length (snigger)

I think they were just m10 so anything from the local fasteners place. High tensile 8.8 will do fine.
