Side Window problem

Drivers side window is playing up. Winds down OK and winds up OK but at top doesnt stop till I release button and bangs loud as it tries to go further. Error message says window not set. Go through routine to set but it wont set.

Any advise most welcome.

Mechanism is worn. Replacement is the best option.

Common failure, window regulator shot. New part costs about £60 from Rimmers, Island 4 X 4 P38 Spares and others. Easy job, re-fit with bolts rather than rivets.
