Shuttle valve

Hi again

I had intermittent 3 amego's lights on my TD5....fault code read shuttle valve.....I replaced this and all seemed well...but recently the same issue, but with no fault code this time.

Sometimes they're on from start up, and other times they come on whilst driving.

When I replaced the valve the electrical plug was clean and the abs block was dry.

Any ideas?

Did you just replace the shuttle valve, or did you do the mod to resolve the problem once and for all as well. Often the problem is not actually the valve itself, but the multiplug connections to it..?

As Tony has already asked, did you just replace the shuttle valves switch plate, or did you do the modification?
In addition to that, the SLABS ECU can sometimes store historic fault codes which might bring up fault indications. If that's the case you'll need to get then cleared.
There's plenty of information here on this forum or on the internet, just search for "SVS mod" or "3 amigos". You should find more than you want to know.
Just to help you along, I've attatched some stuff which might help.

Thanks gents, no I didn't do the mod, just replaced the valve....back under the bonnet I go. lol

Best do the mod, and never have to worry about it again.....
