Hello- Ive owned out freelander TD4 S 2001 since 2nd April ( 16 days of that its been back in the garage ) and its back in again !!

we got a 3month warranty on the car, which has been worth it but now its come to the end !

we've had various problems :-

Non starting - Cam shaft sensor
Knocking noise @ front - Loose steering rack
Whining Noise at back - Rear Diff
plus little other things like clock display , cd player, air con

and now its in the garage with loose anti roll bar

Everytime its gone wrong the garage has been quite good and got everything done for us pretty quick ..but im now unsure of the car ?? im just waiting for the next thing to go wrong ??

Im not sure where i stand with trading standards? would they be interested in my "story". I wish id never bought it and would so love to get my money back ?

either reject it as not fit for purpose or get them to extend the warranty at no cost for another 128 months

approach the garage and ask if they would take the car back at full price paid against another car. they would probably be most amenable to this solution. The trouble with trading standards, although you are well within your rights, is every one gets defensive straight away.

either that or ask for the warranty to be extended at no cost, esp. on the repairs you've already had done
