Hi peeps would really appreciate if someone could shed some light on a issue im having with my 2005 range rover sport 2.7 tdv6

So when im cruising there like a constant hum whine droning noise but only whilst the Accelerator is pressed one you let off the gas its silent soon as you touch the gas again any amount the noise is back instantly

Also i noticed that when accelerating with about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle theres like a duf duf duf sound the speed of the whatever the vehicle is travelling but it isnt domanant

And when the car isnt up to temperature i always run it couple of mins before moving off every morning or when its been sat and cooled say if im sat in slow moving traffic if i slightly come off the brake whilst its in drive the car will shake a bit like someone is pushing it then pulling it back like a shudder soon as i touch the Accelerator to drive away its instantly smooth when its up to full temperature its doesnt do it

Any help and knowledge would be appreciated all .Thanks in Advance

No need to let a modern car warm up more than 30 seconds.
How long have you had the car and when was the gearbox last serviced? How many miles has it done?
Hi bud gearbox had a megaflush service 3 months ago with reciept gears up and down are smooth no bangs etc and its on 132k miles bud extensive service history aswell

Have the front and rear prop shafts looked at or check ithem yourself.
Check both ends and the center bearing as well. It's pretty much a discovery 3 underneath. 😉
Any play in the ends of either shaft or the rear shaft center bearing and they'll need attention.

I was thinking the TC could give shuddering, coming off the brakes?

Any oil in the diffs?
Not a clue bud going to order the fluids and check how much is supposed in the front and rear and drain them measure how much has come out compared to how much was supposed to come out and then fill them to what its capacity suggests then give it a run and hopefully that sorts it if it is that and been caught in time
