My missus is 5ft 4" and the front of my landy is a couple of inches higher than standard. She gets in and out without any steps but she does bend my ear about what a hard job it is. I have told her to climb onto the bumper and then onto the bonnet and get in the window if she's that bothered. She hasn't complained about it while driving it to work mind.:D:D:D

mine - 5'0" - finds getting into the disco (3" lift) no prob - the handle helps - but its the getting out thats a prob.

mind yu - mite be cheaper to get a taller wife :bolt:

I am 5foot 9" and i have quite a big build, and i find it really uncomfortable to use the pedals on the the series 3 because i am to far forward... Would bigger seats cure this?

Dont realy get what you mean by that, im5' 9" and fit in my defender like a glove, but if you put some box section steel between the seat rail and the seat pan, you can lift the seat an inch or two and i hear thats a massive improvment.

I struggle to fit my feet (fair enough.. I do have big feet...) on the brake and the clutch, They are to far up if you get what i mean? I have to lift my feet quite alot to get my feet on them.. And i will try lifting the seat, Thanks :)

My Mrs was always moaning about how difficult it was to get into my Landy, I convinced her to treat me to some side steps, after she gave me the cash to get the side steps I fitted a 2" lift (she didn't notice) and proudly showed her the side steps she treated me to (tree sliders) I couldn't understand it, she was convinced it was now more awkard to get in than before and refuses to get in it now - F*cking reeeeeesult

Try a heavy duty rubber strap bolted on, you can put a plate on it to stop it wrapping around the foot to tight. When off roading it just flexes itself out of the way.

gentlemen; THE only answer is platform soled footware "she" gets to go shoppin,
spends money, what more can be said.
