Hi renewing the front and rear shock absorbers on my 03 plates disco 2. More than happy with the fact that this is a simple and (hopefully) painless job. Being the person I am I want to use new bolts when I refit the new shocks. Went into the local dealership to get some and they want £40 for the rear bolts!!!!

Yes £40 for 4 bolts!!!

My question to the wider community out there is are there any cheaper bolts to use out there??? Can I get some steel M12 bolts from a local supplier and use them???

Looking for some advice on this, hope someone can help.....

Cheers

why do you want to fit new bolts,i never known them get damaged or wear ,cleaned greased old bolts will be better than std new bolts
