I’ve got a sealed 5l can of concentrated Triple QX red antifreeze and a sealed premix.

Does this stuff have a limited or indefinite shelf life?

Cheers

Edit: They’re over 5 years old

Doubt if it is going to be a problem.

I just used a 5 litre of Holts Blue antifreeze in my boat, it must have been at least 25 years old.

The container was interesting, had a recess in the plastic with a spout you could pull out and put in the top of the can, make pouring easier.

Check the bottom of the container for settling. If sealed still ensure no air, otherwise leaks from the seal and smell.
As mentioned above lifespan of a product is related to resale value. Most are mass production with no actual lifespan. Colour cherry red or blue are to indicate different grade in glycerol for aluminium engine block or cast.
If not used worth turning over 6 months periodically as you would do with paint.

Put some in a bottle & chuck it in the freezer 🤣

The issue with antifreeze is not the ability to lower the freezing point. Over time the acidity level increases. You can check with a dip test eg litmus paper

I have some red Oats over a decade old I am still using.
Think I purloined it 10 plus years ago, so the container is sealed but not sealed from new if you se what I mean!
