Hi all,

Just returned from a two-month shakedown trip to Morocco, as a preparation for an Africa overland adventure next year. It was my third time in Morocco, and for those of you who would want to go but still have some doubts: go! It's absolutely easy-going, varied, cheap, and has fantastic challenges for the more adventurous. The pistes in the Moroccan Sahara and the Anti-Atlas Mountains in the south will put you and our Landy to the test, but with a well-serviced car and common sense it is an experience you won't forget!

If anyone wants the GPS track of the desert piste, send me a mail.

Safe travels!

Awesome vids!

What camera did you use, and did you mount it to the roof rack? Wouldn't mind doing something like that, it looks better than a in-car dash cam :)

Hi,

I use a GoPro HD camera with two housings, one in the car and one on the snorkel outside. The housings are completely waterproof and keep out all the dust and sand. You control the camera with your iPhone (with a wifi backpack), so that you don't have to stop and climb on the roof to start/stop. Works like a treat!

Safe travels!

Well if you go for a 4th time & need a tag along, message me. With a few month notice it's something I'd love to do.

Iv'e just had a look at their website. Looks good, cheap too. I'm gonna send then an email I think. is that the Atlantic Sahara?

Certainly is. You'll need the 17:15 ferry departure from Portsmouth on the 22nd Oct if you're seriously considering it too. Booked my space this week. :)

It's been on my 'to do list' for a while now. I'm certainly gonna give them a call or pop in, as their office is only 20 mins away. Once I'v spoke to them, I maybe joining you...fingers crossed :)
