Just a quick video on the Preparations we have done to our 300 tdi (Gertie) for a trip to the South of Spain (Marbella) from Austria. Lots of work done and lots of mods it may help others with a few ideas. Items done for the Trip. Sorry about bad sound at start - just a bit of fun.
Maintenance Items
New Clutch
New rear engine seal
Gearbox Front Seal - replaced
New springs and shocks (OME and Monroe)
Replaced Disks pads and Front Calipers
Complete Fluid change
2 x New wheel bearings - all inspected
Turbo (New) and Hoses Replaced
New rear Exhaust
Overland Mods
Upgrade to 'Wolf Wheels' and Cooper ST max
Side Steps - Fire and Ice
Oz tent RV 5 Carrier - included awning eyes
Cup holder x9
2x Beer bottle openers
Twin Battery system - new fuse box (running fridge, fans and new internal lights)
Fans front and rear - personal cooling
Recovered front seats
New highback rear seats
Internal LED lighting
Rear LED Worklamps
Mesh Phone holders
