servicing

Hi to all, we are after a little bit of information from minds immesurably superior to ours, can anyone clarify the warranty implications if your LR is not serviced by a main dealer ? Will this invalidate manufacturers warranty ? As a side note picked up our ( new to us ) td4 hse today having had a v6 es for the last year.

Er yes . . .best to pay the piper until warranty finished. . .

Thanks for that, my parents have a fairly new td4 were qouted £313 for a second year service although their car has done only 18000 miles. A local garage qouted £115 and told them there would be no worries !

dunno! never had a warranty and never paid fer any garage work. but i beleive that if the peeps doing the work are compatent theyn all is well. which i think would dismiss most of the main stealers

If I remeber right, if they use approved landy parts and fluids etc, you may well be ok...check the small print!

depends on the warranty - some insist on using LR agents - others only a VAT registered company.

Yeh due to the rules under block exemption, as long as the Landy is serviced using Land Rover Parts and done the to same or better standard then it should not affect the warranty. Also must be done by a VAT Reg garage
