Service for Disco 2 (TD5) and fuel filter

1. Can anyone tell me or point me in the direction of what needs doing on this service? Also any tips on good value places to get servicing bits from.

2. Oh that was the other thing, the bottom of the fuel filter there is a plug, looks like a sensor plug.....but nothing plugged in, should there be something plugged in?
