Series Exhaust Manifold

Hey guys,
Does the series exhaust manifold fit the 2.5 petrol defender? I'm having a real job finding a defender one.

If it's a Defender than take a look at this, I've downloaded it and saved it as a pdf so I can look at it whenever and just google the part number for the best price..

It fits but the exhaust flange and carb flange are different. I'm not sure if a series inlet will mate with a defender exhaust either. I swapped the other way (2,5 onto a series to fit a new carb) and the main difference is the exhaust flange. To confuse matters there are two different exhaust manifolds for defenders. One that has a round knob-end on the exhaust the other is more like a top-hat fitting. If yours is a round one you should be able to bodge em together but you will need to modify your exhaust and exhaust clamp.

There's one on ebay stating it fits my vehicle part number 598473 On Paddocks it just states its for series2 & 3 4 cylinder. ( half the price too)

It might be worth downloading the parts catalogues for both S3 and 90 and see what bits you have to start with.

What carb do you have, and what's up with the old manifold?

Its a webber carb, I have a pop from the exhaust when running so checked for leaks and found a crack around one of the manifold to exhaust studs. I should get some pictures.

Which Weber the 34ICH is (usually) on a series manifold the DTML32/34 on a defender manifold.

Pretty sure its a 32/34
I just took the manifolds off.
