Not sure what you mean there.
If the front axle has cv's then there shouldnt be any issues, if the front axle has uj's it'll still work but wear will be increased on the axle components.
You can mod the R380 to be selectable 2 or 4wd, ashcrofts do the kit, not sure 'bout the LT77.

lookin in yard at scrappers,s111 does look a bit wider in depth front to back.?

seat boxes seem the same tho...wierd.

What the fück are you on about now? 4cyl SII, IIA and SIII bodies are almost identical apart from the obvious differences in the front wings and radiator panel. Some people put the intercooler infront of the water radiator with these conversions, which could be a problem with the II/IIA radiator panel because the headlamp would be in the way a bit, but the intercooler can go elsewhere.

BEAST O BODMIN If you PM me your e-mail address i can send you some photos of my series3 88" 200Tdi / LT77 conversion. I used a Defender box not a Discovery one as the bellhousing and (I think) the gear selector section is shorter.

regards

Bell housing and Mainshaft are shorter on Defender boxes.
