Series 3 Brake problem

The bakes pedal is bouncing up and down ! Feels like its cadence braking all on its own ! Its stopping ok though, by bouncing up and down I mean the pedal is pushing back a good inch or so. Anyone had this happen and what was the cure ???

YOUR brake drums are fooked our kid .... gone oval with age and overheating prob ,only cure is new drums im afraid,the lad and i did ours ,what a difference,,,,,,,,,dave

have a good look round the adverts cos you can get em quite cheaply nowadays ,a complete brake overhaul is dead reasonable ,cylinders ,shoes,ect ...the only bother iv,e ever had is with an early sii cos they were cheap brake shoes and where distorted,the brakes felt "springy" is the only way to describe it ,took shoes back ,got oe ones ,sorted,its straightforward mate just take your time,if yer get stuck theres plenty help available,ill giv you a hand mesel if you anywere near mate...dave

Cheers Dave, Buckley Brothers are only just up the road, doing it shouldn't be a problem, I was just getting a few second opinions before I started pulling it to bits !
